Pauline Dau
Pauline Dau began her training at the Lido circus school in Toulouse (France) and specialised in vertical rope, acrobatics, dance and contortion. Later, she taught herself hula-hoop, roller dancing and singing. From then on, she alternated between theatre and circus productions, as a performer (notably for Les Colporteurs, Oktobre or Cirque du Docteur Paradi) and as an author. Vanité(s) is her first “one-woman circus show”, she also created Balance ton corps, a high school circus project dealing with the gender issue.

Physical and burlesque, theatre and circus, dark humour and white face clown, Dalida and Fanny Ardant, kitschy and classy, in her first solo performance Pauline Dau assembles genders and invents a one-woman circus show in which she performs acrobatics, hula hoop but also singing and acting.
She plays all the characters of her portrait gallery in order to grasp what makes us, what are we produced from.
In this energetic and intimate performance, she gets inside the voices and faces, taking the audiences on a fiery and exuberant journey.
